A year ago.....

I was told news that broke my heart- You had gone.
It was something that no one expected to hear, Mia, but having to listen to your mummy telling me that you had died was one of the hardest things I have had to hear. I can still hear the words in my head.
It is such a sad weekend and I keep reliving the pain of last year.
I need you to stay near to mummy and daddy sweetheart. This is one of the hardest times for them.

As this is going to be a difficult week for our family I am lighting the candles & tribute for this week today.

It would have been Christopher’s Birthday on Wednesday, he was on his way home from having a drink to celebrate his 27th Birthday when the accident happened and sadly he died 2 days later.

Special Girl

Hello sweetheart. The most precious little girl is being thought of so much and as your Mummy says another 9th of the month has come and gone, I know Mummy is dreading the next one on the 1 year anniversary of your birth and death. Be sure in your dear little heart Mia that it doesn't really matter which day of the month it is as your Mummy and your Nanny are always loving and thinking of you, you are more precious than you will ever know angel.

Help Mummy be strong, I know you will if you can see that she will get through the 9th of June when we shall all be thinking of you all the day and reliving the terrible experiences of last year. How I wish we could have done something to make you better and be with us all but sadly sweetheart that just could not be and we have to learn to live with that. You will be in our hearts for ever little darling, never doubt that no matter how many grandchildren came before you and follow after you, you will always be Nanny and Grandads special angel in heaven. We love you so much, sleep tight with the other angels. See you one day, all our love Nanny and Grandad. xxxxxxxxxx

11 months ago today we said goodbye

/Mia,
Mummy hates the 9th of every month as it brings me closer to your 1st birthday, a day you should be here with mummy,daddy,jack and lucy and all your family. Only 1 month until that dreaded day arrives,mummy is busy planning a special day for you and have been buying you lots of little presents for your grave.Why am i doing this,i shouldn't have to do this,god life is so cruel sometimes isn't it angel?

Thankyou so much for keeping mummy and your new brother or sister safe sweetheart, we saw the babies heartbeat this week and the baby is now 9 weeks old and is due on 14th december,hopefully mummy will be able to bring this baby home sweetheart. That is what we should have done when you were born Mia but sadly we couldn't and mummy will forever be heartbroken that we had to say goodbye before we got to say hello.

Mia please know that mummy thinks of you everyday and my love for you will never die.
Mummy will be up to see you later darling girl and we'll have a chat as usual x

Mia my special little girl x Please watch over mummy and daddy tomorrow when we go for our early scan to see how you wee brother or sister is doing.
I hope we get some good news i really do sweetheart,mummy needs this happiness x My heart aches for you so much,especially as we approach your first birthday x Mummy will never forget you Mia i just need your wee brother or sister here to help us with the terrible pain we still feel at losing you x

Your garden is looking so lovely at the moment and i will be up to see you tomorrow after we have been for this scan x

Beautiful Garden

Hello again beautiful litle girl, it was so wonderful (but emotional) to see you in your special garden this week. Your Mummy keeps it so beautiful for you and also the other babies near you, Grandad and I are so proud of her. I have had a job to get on your site as we have been over to the hospital most of the time since we came home seeing your cousin Fearne, you and the angels have been working hard again as she should be coming off her oxygen today, thankyou Mia.

We were so thrilled to hear that Hannah has safely had her little baby girl, I expect you and those angels have been watching over them. I so wish that we had had someone watching over you last year. We love you so much sweetheart. Sleep tight my special little angel.

FUNNY BUNNY

Little Easter, the comedienne bunny,
Tried too hard at being funny.
She juggled and she dropped the eggs
They fell and smashed between her legs.

Poor Easter left the stage in shame
And thought that she might change her name.
But then that bunny read this ad,
"This Sunday we need help real bad."

So Easter Bunny kept her name
And through the years has gained much fame,

Coming to see you

Hello sweet angel, guess what? Your Nanny and Grandad are coming to see you on Tuesday, I want so much to see your beautiful garden which Mummy has sent photographs of. I hope I shall not be too sad though Mia when I stand so near to you, I don't want you to see me as a blubbering mess. I will do my best to keep it together so you can see happy faces. I love you so much sweetheart, I can't tell you how much you are missed. Last night we went to a quiz night in your honour and over two thousand pounds was raised, it was all very moving though.

Can you thank those lovely angels again for keeping an eye on your cousin Fearne, we don't know how long your precious cousin has with us, but if you keep on nagging at those angels maybe they can keep her safe for a really long time. I don't know how Auntie Naomi will cope when that time comes.

Also, I think they must be working overtime as Linda (Amy's) Mummy is doing well now thank goodness, also Hannah, you must be sure to thank them often on our behalf. Gosh you and they are going to be so busy!

Mia, our darling little grand daughter, we treasure all thoughts of you and hope you are in a very happy and contented place, snuggled up cosy with all your little friends, sleep peacefully sweetheart.
